A group of Simandhar City NRI girls proved that the Christmas spirit can stay alive no matter where in the world you are. Even in a place without snow, stockings, or gingerbread houses, Christmas was celebrated joyfully. The magic of Simandhar City has done it again! This winter, the NRI girls decided to perform a very popular Christmas tradition: caroling. Here’s the catch, the carols were all infused with Akram Vignan terminology! Taking Christmas songs and merging them with bhakti pado, a melodious Christmas Bhakti Caroling was the result! Going from house to house, the girls surprised the residents by immediately bursting into song as the front door was opened – the residents were amazed and happily clapped along. Even neighbors who could hear, opened their doors to see what the buzz was about. But that’s not all, there’s more. Upon completing the carols, each house was given a ‘reindeer cup full of chocolates’ along with a Merry Christmas card, both prepared by the youth. This was a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas and have some fun. Also, this is a prime example of how Dada’s gnan can be applied anywhere and everywhere! From the Simandhar City NRI families, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
